Copy complete home share from one NAS to another?
Hi, What's the recommended way to copy the complete home share (ie all user shares) from one NAS to an other and retain the correct file permissions? Thanks, Sunday Afternoon

Thanks sphardy - I came to this conclusion the hard way after attempting many different backup configurations using the admin user's credentials for the backup job.
I am moving all my data from my ProBE to my Pro6. I did the config backup & restore then copied over all the data in the shares. First by CIFS for speed then by rsync to correct all the permissions. Finally, it is time to do all the home shares. A single way to do this and retain permissions is a missing feature.
I've had to resort to moving the home shares 1 by 1 with each user entering their credentials. Fortunately, I don't have many, but it is still a pain.
