Copy instead of move from external storage?
Hi All, I'm copying a load of data onto my 314 via the eSATA connection. The default function is moving the data so that the external disk doesn't contain the data after it's complete. Is there a ...
it's an external drive plugged into the eSATA connection of the NAS.
Then i'm using the WebUI -> shares screen to browser the external drive then drag the folder/files from the external drive to a share on the NAS.
Dragging and dropping is, by default a copy operation in Windows so I assumed it would be the same but the data is no longer on the external drive
