Corrupted admin page RND4000 (ReadyNAS NV+ v1) F/W 4.1.14
I had the same symptoms as this, admin page is useless.
I did a OS reinstall (before finding the above).
Same corrupted admin page.
RAIDar showed it is up and healthy.
Now I just get 'Unable to connect', cannot access shares.
Checked unit and LCD says Booting...
Note, I had to do a OS reinstall a few days ago when the Admin page was shown correctly but was unresponsive, i.e Navigation worked, but clicking on buttons that actually did (or were ment to do) something, didn't. OS reinstall fixed it.
I suspect memory errors so am currently running the memory test. Howmany patterns does it got through and how long does it run?
If it passes the test, as per the link above is a USB Recovery the next step?

For others searching, there are 8 patterns in the memory test, took maybe 20 minutes.
Passed memory test. Still sits at 'Booting...', RAIDar says 'System is starting up'.
Powerd off.
Did another OS reinstall, still sits at 'Booting...'
Powered off.
Did USB image recovery, successful, powered on:
'Booting
Please wait...',
'Booting...',
'checking root FS',
'Booting...',
4 disk lights turn on, activity light flashes, power button pulsing,
activity light stops, power button pulsing,
still sits at 'Booting...'
RAIDar says 'System is starting up'.
Suggestions?
Perhaps first disk with OS partition has issues? I have a spare, it should rebuild off the other 3...

After further reading this sounds like the OS Partition Full issue which seems to have been around for a loooong time.

The OS partition is synced across the disks regardless of which RAID level you are using for your volume(s).
Do you have a backup?
Did you try downloading the logs recently? Did you update the firmware recently? What changes did you make shortly before running into this problem?- Michael_OzLuminary
RAID-X 4x2TB BTW.
Yes I have a backup, but that is always a PITA.
No I did not download logs or update firmware recently.
No changes except, power down, OS reinstal and USB recovery as mentioned.
It is a legacy NAS but still gets backed up to (that backup is copied to another NAS - RN316), but the Windows Backup has been failing for the last few weeks (error code 0x81000039), I tried changing the Windows Backup to the RN316 and get the same error so was/am thinking it is a Windows issue, but perhaps a sign...
The NV+ performance has also been woefull for some time.
Also note freespace on the volume (main one, not OS partition of which I have no idea) was low-ish ~200 gb, if that matters.
