 scanning broken
Hi,
Just upgraded to 4.2.22 on my NVX and ReadyDLNA(minidlna) no longer scans my many mpg files that previously were being indexed/scanned without issue.
1.0.25 appears to be able to scan mp4 files without issue:
[2012/09/25 00:26:47] metadata.c:883: debug: Container: 'mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2' [file.mp4]
[2012/09/25 00:26:47] metadata.c:1301: debug: AVC profile [-99] not recognized for file file.mp4
[2012/09/25 00:26:47] metadata.c:1312: debug: Stream 0 of file.mp4 is h.264
However, once it hits a directory with mpg (specifically mpeg-ts containers):
[2012/09/25 00:31:42] metadata.c:883: debug: Container: 'mpegts' [file1.mpg]
** It either just hangs here and never progresses or has produced FPE but cannot reproduce.
This is all post the upgrade, tried downgrading to 1.0.24 and got the same.
What changed?
Thanks,
K

- k1llah3rtzAspirantok, so i see that i'm not alone or mad which is good....
and this isn't related to mpegts but the fact its h264 inside an mpg :) - k1llah3rtzAspirantanyone :(....
my thinking is that its actually something broken in the change relating to ffmpeg/libavcodec
--- - k1llah3rtzAspirantproblem is definitely something in 4.2.22 and ReadyDLNA.
downgraded to 4.2.21 and installed 1.0.25 and it works as usual. - bzhpedroAspirantHi, I have exactly the same kind of issue here with a ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer.
When I start the scan, it never ends.
Do I have to go back to 4.2.21 ? - chirpaLuminarytry running 4.2.22 and loading 1.0.25 manually? viewtopic.php?f=76&t=27946
- TonyKLGuideI'm having the same problem, I started a new topic here before I found this one.

Hope this is fixed soon, or should I downgrade to 4.2.21 ??
edit: I've a clean 4.2.22 and manual 1.0.25 (as original failed too) - k1llah3rtzAspiranttried running .22 then re-apply 1.0.25 and is the same behaviour.
- TonyKLGuideThe only solution I have found is to downgrade back to 4.2.21 - this fixes the problem for me.
