delete snapshots when they don't exist ReadyNAS 102

My HD is full.  I delete files and nothing frees up.

Other posts say to delete snapshots but my NAS shows there are "0" of them.

Yet, there definitely are such files.

Can I just delete the .shapshot folder?

    What firmware are you running?

    No.

You could try running a balance from the volume settings wheel.

If you can, then copy some of the videos to your PC hard drive, and then delete them from the NAS before running the balance.

The other day I deleted over 3GB data from the NAS and ran the Balance script.  My free space went from 72 KB to only 128 KB.

Do you have snapshots enabled in your share settings?

Did you mean to type 72 KB?
