Desperately need data on a unit with dead NIC
I have ready many posts that the ReadyNAS Duo v2 has NIC issues. My NIC is dead and i have tried all the troubleshooting from other posts. I desperately need access to my Data though. My warranty is ...

Easiest would be to backup to a usb disk, make sure you format the disk in fat or ntfs so you can read it using a PC.
You could also read one of the disks using Linux reader on a PC. If you do this only remove and reinsert the disk with the Nas off.

You can put the disks in another duo v2 or nv+v2 EDIT (if you have a v2) or a Duo v1 or NV+ v1 (if you have a Duo v1) Make sure:
1 You remove them with the unit off and insert with the other unit off.
2 You insert them in the same order
3 You have the same or later firmware on the new Nas.
