Disabling CTSCAN

Hello,

Is it possible to disable ctscand and the watchdog from the command line? I keep stopping the service, but it starts back up. It doesn't seem like the device can't handle Wordpress + mysql + ctscan (anti-virus). Ctscan takes up more than 25% of the memory. When I try and load a WP page, I can watch the free memory (free -m) going down to below 24M. Eventually, mysql crashes. I want to try and disable ctscand. Thanks.
