Hi all I am after some help too. I have been running a ReadyNas Duo since 2007 and it has been using DLNA on a Samsung TV for the last 4 years with no problems at all. Today I set up my new RN104. After updating the FW (6.2.2) I wanted to just quickly check all was on and just quickly dragged a film on to the RN104. Ever 5 to 15 mins the box would just disconnect from the TV. After alot to web hunting I tried a few things including switching to static IP's and nothing worked until i unplugged one of the network cables from the box. I had noticed every time the box disconnected the old Duo would spin up as if I have clicked on "My Network" on the Desktop.
I have never had a device with 2 network cards in it at the same time so I a bit out of my depth here but I read in the ReadyNAS OS 6.2 Software Manual, about "Bonding" the 2 adapters to act as 1. Is this a good idea to try? Any setting surgestions? Or has anyone else tried this to fix the DLNA disconnecting problem?
UPDATE : Just put the second network cable back in after watching a film for 30-40 mins with no prob and was disconnected again within 10mins.
