Thanks for the replies and suggestions. I think I will take mdgm's advise and contact support. The support case number they have given me is 21660360 but I am unsure whether any will be provided as I purchased the unit back in Sept 2012.
Additional screens below shown more errors that I have found.
The status for disk 1, note the bad sector count.

Also the moment it looks like a disk failure was detected in the log.
