Downloading to your pc from a share
Dear members,
I have made a share for my family to download from. They can access over HTTPS the share and log in on the share. They can create on the share and change but not download anything. What do I do wrong?

There isn't anything on the ReadyNAS that you need to set up for dyndns. You either configure it in your router or (more likely) install the dyndns app on your PC.master64nl wrote: What or how must I set up the dyndns? OK I made one and via the browser to dyndns and it is still the same. The same log in and just a file for file to download and not a whole map. So what can I do?

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI am confused about what you are asking.
Is your dyndns already configured to let you access your home router? If not, what are you using it for? - master64nlAspirantI did exactly what you said. Made via dyndns a connection to my router and it is the same as https connection, they can only download one song instead of the whole map with songs.

I think you must mean "folder" when you say "map"???master64nl wrote: I did exactly what you said. Made via dyndns a connection to my router and it is the same as https connection, they can only download one song instead of the whole map with songs.
filezilla will download/upload folders. - master64nlAspirantThanks Stephen for helping me out. I mean folder, map is dutch :D
Anyway, you telling me that when I or they use filezilla it will work. So I can use HTPPS instead of FTPS? - StephenBGuru - Experienced User
You can use the https method for moving individual files through the broswer, or use FileZilla FTP for either individual transfers or folders. ReadyNAS doesn't do ftps, but it does support "explicit FTP over TLS"master64nl wrote: Thanks Stephen for helping me out. I mean folder, map is dutch :D
