Drive Lost after 5.3.11 update

How did the story end?
Could you find out why your drive is dead?
What about the USB Ports? Are they working?
I have a very similar problem with the Duo V2 after the 5.3.11 update:
The box was not starting after the automatic shutdown. The Power LED was just blinking two times.
After a few attempts the box startet again after a very long startup time. One drive is dead now (second one). And the upper USB Port on the back seams to be dead too.
Is there any connection with this firmware update?
I do not trust that system now. Should it be OK to insert a new (same size) HDD in the second slot? I configured the NAS with RAID 1.
I already uploaded the LOGs via the German support but did not receive an answer yet.
Could you help me please?
