Duo - dead, no lights or fans
Hi everyone. Hope you can help. I left my Duo while i was copying a Bluray rip to it over my network and came back to find it switched off. Trying to now power on the Duo and nothing happens. Pre...
Hmm well i phoned Tech support and while on the phone i realised the power adapter has an LED to show power and mine wasnt lit when plugged in. Tried another lead and still the same so it must be the brick.
I didnt check this before as i didnt think of it. :roll:
Tech support are inquiring whether they can send me a replacement power adapter instead of me changing the NAS as well....i wont be doing the latter just for the adapter and have to mess about getting the NAS into the right state (firmware 4.1.7) to get my HDD's back into it without wiping them!
