Duo v1 - Update to 4.1.12 - no access, even not with SSH
I have the same problem as badbrad1 in the thread http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=71858, but in my case SSH is installed, and so is PHP.
I tried to access the ReadyNAS via Putty with user=admin and my password for the Frontview GUI. The login is apparently accepted, but Putty closes immediately and nothing more happens.
What can I do?

- emcAspirantYes, I did and it helped. I got frontview access, but what next now?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredInstall the PHP add-on again
- emcAspirantIt looks readynasxtras.com is down :(
I've try contact info<at>readynasxtras<dot>com because I bought PHP 5.3.20 for ReadyNAS Sparc there. I will search maybe I didn't deleted *.bin files. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserMaybe also PM WhoCares? (the ? is part of his username).

- xbeex1AspirantI have the same problem. It doesn't work. I finished step 1 and 2 but the step 3, I got this error.
NAS:~# /usr/sbin/apache-ssl -f /etc/frontview/apache/httpd.conf -k restart
apache-ssl: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 192.168.1.2 for ServerName

What should I do? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe BitTorrent add-on is EOL (End of Life) and no longer supported. This problem is likely to happen if you just updated from some very old versions of RAIDiator which include a very old version of the BitTorrent add-on.
# cd /etc/frontview/addons
# ls
# sh BITTORRENT.remove
Then if you still don't have Frontview access check to make sure there is no BITTORRENT.conf file (or similar) left in /etc/frontview/apache/addons and try restarting Frontview again.
Welcome to the forum! - xbeex1AspirantMany thanks for your reply, mdgm. That works for me.
- bobo27AspirantHi there, It seems that I have been too quick to update to 4.1.12. I had PHP installed (got an email today that there is a fix..) and deactivated SSH to save as much resources as possible.
Problem is that I can't access Frontview but all my shares work fine. Even the bittorrent add on works as normal. I have rebooted the system but no luck.
I did see a suggestion for tech mode, but I couldn't find clear instructions what to do. Can anyone help me? Thanks
