When you login to CIFS (i.e. \\ip.address.of.nas or \\hostname) in Windows. If username and password on PC is same as username and password on NAS you will be logged in automatically.
Try this suggestion: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/share/how_do_i_connect_to_the_readynas_as_admin
You'll need to delete the existing connection to the NAS first.
