Duo won't boot, how to proceed?

Hi, first I got a bunch of these alerts:
Reallocated sector count has increased in the last day.
Disk 1:
Previous count: 3122
Current count: 3948
And after about a week or two the emails read like this:
Disk 1 did not pass SMART self-assessment test. Please replace this disk as soon as possible.
I was kind of purposely waiting until the disk failed to replace, as I've seen disks with SMART errors last years & function relatively well.
Had I known it would totally hose my Duo, obviously I'd have acted differently....
I guess I'll find how to boot with bypassing FSCHK and let you know what happens.
