dust removal

Guys what is the best way to remove dust from the device?

    If you do attempt to clear dust from the inside the unit, it's important to be careful with the fans.  You don't want air to spin the blades. General advice is to hold the fins of the fan before trying to vacuum or run compressed air through the air intake.  

     

    Opening the unit also likely voids the warranty.

    Hello aalexandrebeta,

     

    I'm not sure how ReadyNAS users deal with this but I guess mounting your unit with much room for cooling air to circulate and to make sure it does not draw air in on where dust settles would help. Also, clean the air intakes of the NAS regualrly.
