Error 1001040005 (Frontview > Shares)

Hi everyone !

Everytime I click on "Shares" on the frontview of Readnas OS 6, I get this message (Code: 1001040005) :

Readynas OS 6 - Err 100140005.png

My Readynas is a RN10400 running the firmware 6.4.2 with 4 HDD 1To installed.

If anyone could help me with this that would be great.

Thank you.

    Hi Jay-972,

    Welcome to the community!

Is the share accessible via File (Windows) Explorer? Have tried resetting the permission of the share? Also, which Firmware is running in your system?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind regards,

      Hi BrianL!

      Thank you for answering me.

On Windows, I can't even see the readynas when I could before. On Mac OS X, I can use my shared folders without troubles.

I tried resetting the permissions too...  When I connect on the web interface of the readynas and go to "Shares", It's still the same. I got the same message.

Readynas OS 6.4.2 is running on the NAS.

      Thank you

      Jay-972

        Hi Jay-972,

Thank you for your response. Check the SMB file sharing protocol if its enabled on the system and shares. Also. send the system device logs (address it to BrianL) to check what's the problem on your system.

        Kind regards,

    Hi Jay-972,

I was asked to have a look at your unit when you called in today. It seems as if the readynasd database had been corrupted and needed to be rebuilt. And as my colleague informed you over the phone, this should now be resolved, let me know if it happens again.
