Error 36 on Mac - can't copy files - ReadyNAS 102
I've run into a huge problem. Everything has been fine for ages, and I've been using my ReadyNAS 102 with an iMac quite happily, but the other day, I started getting Error 36 when trying to copy files from the Mac to the NAS. Nothing at all will copy, but I can see the folder structure, etc.
Accessing the NAS from a Windows box works just fine and the NAS seems to be fully operational, just not with my Mac in the frame.
I've googled this issue, and it seems to be an I/O error of some sort, possibly related to .DS files, but I can't get around it ... cleaning metadata and hidden files seems to do no good, and neither does re-installing El Capitan.
Before I go for the nuclear option and flatten and rebuild the NAS, has anybody else seen this, and am I missing something obvious?

Hi righteye,
Welcome to the community!
When you said that you tried to copy files and got the said error, did you try it with both AFP/SMB protocols?
Kind regards,

Yep, both protocols.
In the end, I had to restore the NAS back to factory settings and restore my data from a backup - I couldn't find any way to fix this, and restoring it worked, but I'm worried that it'll happen again.
