External USB3 drive not detected after update to firmware 6.9.3 on readynas104

After updating to firmware 6.9.3 yesterday, the device is no longer detecting my external USB3 hard drive.

I've plugged the drive into my macbook and it doesn't appear to have any issues.

 

Drive is a WD My Book, 3TB, formatted with NTFS.

I'm not seeing it detected on either hotplug into the readynas104 or on reboot (via dmesg) as a usb or block device.

It's also not listed via fdisk -l.

 

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can someone from netgear confirm the issue with this firmware version?

    Can you download the NAS system logs and then provide it to us? You may check this link on how to send the logs.
