I agree with you on this, that this user behavior is not a best practice. The file in question is a TSQL script, and the situation does not happen off the NAS.
The part that is confusing to me is that the file just disappears after User A saves the file, I get that it should overwrite User B's changes but it should not apparently blink the file out of existence. This is concerning because I run a large network with a big amount of automation, simple user education probably wont be enough.
I am running ReadyNAS 2100 vs [X-RAID2], on RAIDiator 4.2.22
