Hello,
Your media player to find and stream content from your ReadyNAS Duo v1 (running RAIDiator 4.1.16), is typically called ReadyDLNA (or sometimes referred to as the iTunes Streaming server). To access this setting, you must navigate through the device's web administration interface, known as FrontView. First, log in to FrontView using your device's IP address in a web browser. Once logged in, locate the primary navigation section labeled Services. Within the Services menu, you will find a submenu or option for Streaming Services (or sometimes just ReadyDLNA), where you can enable or disable the media server function so that devices on your network can discover and access your shared media files.

There is no media player built in. It does have a DLNA server (as described in the previous post). Some players support file sharing protocols - the NAS also has SMBv1, NFS, and FTP.

Enable ReadyDLNA, then select (browse) the folders that contain the media. You can specify the media type if needed. I use VLC as my media player on my iPhone and TV.
