If you have updated to 6.7.3 and ran into this issue please try USB Boot Recovery with ReadyNAS OS 6.7.4 which is now available!
If you have not yet upgraded please upgrade to 6.7.4 rather than 6.7.3. If your system has already been fixed I would still suggest updating to 6.7.4 the normal way using the web admin GUI.

If you're comfortable with the Linux CLI you can follow these steps
Note you'll need to put the files from the x86 folder onto the USB key with the exception of syslinux.exe (the Windows installer for putting the syslinux bootloader on a USB key). Also the x86 firmware image you put on the USB key should be the 6.7.4 one. You need to extract the .zip download and put the .img file on the USB key.Alternatively you could e.g. create a VirtualBox VM for Windows and configure USB passthrough and run our tool.
