Of course it is.
Usually I start by installing it in backup NAS for a little while, and then upgrade my main NAS. I've had no issues with 6.10.4 in a converted legacy pro-6, or in an RN202.

Hi Stephen,
Greetings!!!
Thank you so much for the reply .Can you just let me know if this firmware update(6.10.4) is resolving the password reset issue which we had in 6.10.3 .
Meanwhile why is the update of the firmware not available when we perform the automatic update in the system (RN3220) .It shows an message that the system is updated to latest firmware(6.10.3).

I have no idea. I don't work for Netgear, so I don't have any information beyond what is in the release notes.

Netgear always releases the firmware for manual download first, and then add it to their update servers a week or so later. They've never said why they do this, but I am thinking they are confirming that they aren't seeing issues in the field before they push it out to everyone.
I do recommend keeping up - running firmware at the long-term-stable level or newer. But, if there isn't something listed in the release notes that you need, then I suggest waiting a bit before installing a new release on your primary NAS - and check the forum for any reports of issues. Usually I install it on my backup NAS for a week or so before updating my main NAS. I'm more cautious about major releases (e.g. 6.11), as you normally can't downgrade once you take them.
That said, you can try 6.10.4 if you wish, and downgrade back to 6.10.3 if you find a problem. So far I haven't had any issues with it.
