Firmware Upgrade not working

This is a known problem for some ARM based NAS. See this workaround: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29974

If that doesn't solve it, you likely will need help from support.

can u try download the firmware file and do a manual upgrade?

  So this didn't actually work in the end. I got an error when I tried to upload the complete-flash-update_1.0_armel.deb file.
