fixup exception + 5 Readynas 516
Can anyone help could not access my readynas 516 and there was the message fixup exeption + 5 on the front door screen could not access the unit from a browser at all it would not power down on the ...

True - which is why I mentioned it. Though the odds of something going wrong in a migration from RN516->RN526 are pretty small.
But if you have a spare disk handy, it doesn't take long to upgrade the firmware in the RN526 flash first.

In reply to you comments advice the replacement 526x arrived next day installed a single disk that i had spare updated the firmware to 6.10.1 powered down nas installed disks from old nas in the order they came out labeled them as to avoid any error on install powered up nas was showing my settings ie host name my alert settings but no volme that was red and not showing any spare space one big green 45tb of 45tb and not able to access files etc.
In the end Netgear passed this on to data recovery techician said after about a day he could give it a command but it might make situ worse or destroy what was there about 20gb of files told him i had a backup so go ahead and do it result volume mounted all files recovered this closes this little journey thanks for the all help and support you all give :-)
