OK, I know I answered this before, and the OP replied to that. so I guess Netgear had to reset the forum again.
Anyway, for anyon else lookig for a solution to this, it is caused by having ReadyDLNA turned on. DLNA, being a streaming protocol, has no password protection. Default access is to Videos, Pictures, and Music shares, though you can give access to others as well. So, if you don't use DLNA, turn it off on ther System/Settings page. If you do, be careful what shares you make available via DLNA and what files you put in shares where DLNA is enabled.
Personally, I believe DLNA should have parantal control, which could also help here, but it does not. But that's just inherent in the protocol, not Netgear's choice. Netgear may want to include a warning about this in the documentation.
