FORMATTING NAS DRIVES
Have just switched from running Time Machine on my Duo NAS back to a USB drive... Although I've un-ticked the option to Enable TM Support, I can't find (in Frontview) how to format my drive(s) to get ...
Thanks for that reply... Only just got round to trying this, as I've been stupidly busy elsewhere!
Can't get this to work! When I do the Go, Go to Folder and type in /Volumes/c/.timemachine it says 'Folder cannot be found!'
As for the: Then also open in another Finder window /Volumes/c/TMtemp and move the sparse bundle to the TMtemp share. Don't know how to do this?!
And when I just open a Finder window and click on the 'nas-49-47-47 (CIFS)' link on the left of the Finder window; then click on the 'Connect As...' button; after a couple of seconds, the link disappears!!!!!
Other than removing each drive from the NAS and putting them into my Mac to format them there, and starting all over again, I really don't know what to do. I've tried calling support (in India!) and they're a waste of time!
