viewtopic.php?f=23&t=58380&p=328515&hilit=setup+ftp#p328515 - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserAre you saying you can't find the FTP server on the NAS, or that you can't find a suitable client?
The FTP server on the NAS is under services->standard file protocols. In addition to enabling it there, you need to enable FTP access for each of your shares via shares->share listing. There are guides on the forum regarding masquerade, passive ports etc. Though if you have trouble with that, just follow up on this thead.
On the client side, I recommend FileZilla for PCs and es file manager for android. Filezilla is not integrated with the windows shell, it has its own GUI. However, you can drag and drop once you make the connection to the server. - gibxxiGuideNot aware of the features of FileZilla, StephenB's suggestion, but I use SmartFTP which also comes with a built in SSH/Teminal plugin so you can connect to the NAS via SSH too, without the need to install PuTTY or any other 3rd party program. I also find the UI very easy to use.
