FTP Default Folders

Currently I have multiple users logging in as different users and doing FTP transfers but I have one automated application that does not have the option of selecting a folder so I need this one user account to open to the folder they have rights to, is there a way to setup the ReadyNAS to put a user directly into their folder?

I am using a ReadyNAS 212 on OS 6.6.

    Hello ForeSight,

Are you trying to make the user's personal/home folder the default share that the user will see each time it logs in?

    What is this automated application?

    Welcome to the community!

Honestly any folder would be fine but yes the users home folder and the application is siw which is a Windows analyzing tool that gathers and reports a huge amount of information about the hardware and software of a Windows machine.

        Hello ForeSight,

I am honestly not sure how the application you are using looks like and how it works but on Windows explorer, when you map the NAS IP and log in the user, only the shares that are allowed for the user to access show, that also includes the personal/home share.
