Hmm.. I should have looked at the Ethernet status in the Readynas.. it says 100Mbit on eth0, but if I switch to eth1 I get 1Gbit.
Clearly something's wrong with the primary interface. I'll see how this goes for a while, meanwhile I'll create a ticket.
