As above poster said, they are both gigabit.
I'm in contact with the support now and they seem to acknowledge that something's wrong.
Another thing that can be seen, in my case at least, is that when a network cable is plugged into eth0, it takes exactly 10 seconds before the tx/rx light up, one of them being orange (indicating 100mbps).
On eth1 however, it takes a random time < 2 seconds to light up, and green.
So clearly a timeout is triggered when something goes haywire on eth0, and it then fallbacking to 100mbps (2 pair).
