GPT Drive not recognized on RN102
I just purchased a 3TB external drive (2.5 inch usb powered). The drive is recognized by the NAS when formatted as MBR (2TB) but whenever I reformat the drive as GPT the NAS won't detect it. I've tri...
USB adapter as in the external case of the HDD?
Meaning, purchasing a different brand may have worked better?
Or do you mean the USB adapter of the RN102?
I should add that I formatted the drive as NTFS.
I also tried the connecting the drive as GPT (1 volume, 3TB) to my Synology 916+ and it detected the drive just fine.
Since RN102 detects the drive when formated as MBR I think this is software issue.
