Help on rsync between 2 Readynas Duo

I set the the permissions read/write for all users and groups. I have not defined any login/password for the rsync share. When defining the backup, the connexion test works fine.
I am using in the rsync parameters of the backuo tasks, the same user/password combination in the 2 setup. I have read in the user guide that anyway the user/password are useless if there is no rsync user/password setup.
I run the backups on the local NAS since I want to keep control and logs on the local device
