You could power down the NAS I guess if you've already downloaded the logs.
Whilst RAID is good one should not mistake it for a backup. If important data is primarily stored on the NAS it should be backed up regularly. See Preventing Catastrophic Data Loss
Edit: You could try clearing your web browser cache e.g. Temporary Internet Files.
