Could a readynas ultra be used for this?
Presumably something like linuxMCE installed??

- Home Automation != Surveillance alone. Power control, phone control, lighting, blinds, garage door, etc.
Ages ago I ran heyu software with X10 devices, was able to setup crontabs to turn power outlets on and off. These days I have Belkin WeMo devices with WiFi to do similar. Wish I had the cash to re-wire my place for full control.
