How I Backup My WDTV

Backup Source:
Type: Remote
Name: Remote: Windows (Archive Bit)
Host: WDTVLiveHub (This is the default name of the share, if you named it something different, use that)
Path: WDTVLiveHub (Same as above)
No need for usr/pass even if you use password for admin console on WDTV

Creat a dir on your NAS in the share:backup. Mine is WDTV.

Backup Desitination:
Type: share
Name: share:backup
Host:
Path: WDTV (This is the name of the dir that I assigned. If you created a different one, use it)

I do not "test connections" because the test gives different results from the actual backup. For example, once I tested 92.168.1.6, and got a success when the actual IP was 192.168.1.6.

Hope this helps save someone some time. It took me quite a few attempts before getting this right. I backed up over 440Gb in about 15 hours time. Both the NAS and WDTV are wired into a wireless bridge. Now it will do increment backups every night.
