How to access FrontView in WAN

Anybody know how to access Netgear ReadyNAS Duo Frontview via a browser in WAN?

Tried setting the router TCP port to 443 but still no luck.

Any suggestion?

  • Sure that is going to work.
    I assume your network looks like:

    inet <--> DSL Router <--> TL-WR1043ND <-- wifi/cable --> nas

    Steps to proceed:

    1) TL-WR1043ND with DD-WRT : set up a openVPN server on port X (1194 per default for openvpn)
    2) Forward port 1194 from wan to ip of TL-WR1043ND in the DSL Router
    3) test that you can connect to openvpn from outside using the regular openvpn client

    And we pick it up from there...
