Since you're using a mac, you'll need to enable samba sharing from System Preferences and go to Sharing. After enabling samba, you'll be able to use CIFS/Samba to pull data from the device. It says Windows/NAS (Timestamp), even though you're on a mac. Then the host will be your IP address for your Mac, and the path will be the share name you created. XRAID automatically allows for you to lose 1 disk and have it rebuild itself.
