How to best use the dual NIC's on 1100?
I have a 1100 with latest firmware x.13
I understand I can't team both NIC's (will that change in the future?)
So what will the best way be If I want the 1100 to only server my LAN, with a single subnet.
It's a Windows Server 2008 R2 enviroment.
What settings should the NIC's have?
Any special settings on the Switch?
DHCP?
DNS?

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe 1100 is long EOL. So there won't be new features.
So a single NIC connected to your network could be the way to go.
The NAS should automatically pickup an I.P. from your DHCP server. You could assign the NAS a static I.P. in the DHCP settings on your router. - saarikoAspirantThanks for the speedy reply.
Yes, I know they (I have 2 :-) ) are EOL, but they're perfect for me.
Just upgraded them to 5.5 TB, so They still have many more with me.
