How to (completely) unistall Twonky 6?
Hi, How to completely remove Twonky 6? I tried and did not find enough reasons to pay for it so how do I remove it? Seems that it leaves behind some directories and entries in some databases so...

So I eventually managed to clear this up.
I needed to installed the EnableRoot addon from Netgear. From there i installed WinSCP (Google it) and was able to SSH into the ReadyNAS.
Taking it very carefully, I found that there were still a number of references to Twonky left with the file strutcures and files. Primarily in the Samba files and directories, but also unsed "shortcuts". Deleting these one by one led me back to having control of my media again (small m and capital M media share!"). I finally deleted the small m media share and was able to see all my media again from Windows.
The only error I then still saw was after a ReadyNAS reboot. It was still looking from Twonkymedia!!!. A PM to super-poussin saw this error removed.
If you aren't confident navigating your way around the internal workings of the ReadyNAS - then don't try this.
Thanks for you help,
Nick
