How to configure UPS with PC and 3 NAS boxes

No. You need to use NUT software, not PowerPanel.
Start by connecting the UPS to one of the NAS, and then monitor the NAS remotely on the other two.
You can then download NUT for Windows from here: https://networkupstools.org/download.html It is beta (and has been for a long time). So I wouldn't use it to notify the NAS. It's better to have the NAS notify the PC. The PC would use the username monuser with a password of pass when accessing the NAS.
Thank you StephenB for the explanation. For connecting to the NAS, what are the proper configuration parameters on the NAS? Meaning name/description/type/address/community/MIBs. An example would be very helpful, same for the credentials on the two remote NAS boxes.
To complete this, are there any settings I have to enter on the NAS itself? If so, how, through the front panel?
Well I answered the first part of my own question... when I simply connect the USB from UPS to the RN528X, it automatically and pretty instantly auto-connected to the Cyberpower and auto-created a UPS profile as shown below. The settings don't offer much of anything though... I selected "Enable monitoring of attached UPS", but that's the only setting I see, other than the shutdown threshold which I'll just leave at Auto for now. Probably 2-5 minutes later once I am confident the setup is solid.
Connecting a remote NAS was do-able as follows:
1) For 2nd NAS to be added, navigate to admin / settings / power / UPS section and + a UPS connection
2) Name = UPS (required), Type = Remote UPS, Address = Address of 1st NAS that's been previously connected directly to the UPS, User = monuser (required), Password = pass (required)
Even more sparse is the UPS Settings, basically none at all to adjust.
I don't see any way to program the setup as-is for things like auto-turn on after a shutdown event (maybe this UPS doesn't support that, not clear).
But now wer're rockin'... just one more thing to do, add the PC using NUT software.
