How to delete or rebuild DLNA Database?
I have a very big problem with the ReadyNAS Pro2 and its DLNA-Service.
Over mounths (and with the old ReadyNAS Duo over years) I´ve had never experienced a problem with that.
But yesterday I transcoded a video with the output directly to the NAS, not first to the local drive and then copy...
After that the whole NAS was not findable.
OK, click on rescan: Music and pictures are found and can be selected by the DLNA-Devices.
BUT no one video is shown.
NAS restart, Check disk, turn DLNA off/on, remove Video from DLNA-Service and put back as new... - nothing had helped me.
The thing is clear for me, the DLNA Database is corrupt and on the webadmin-surface you can only make a rescan, but it stay the same corrupt database lay under.
It should give a possibility to delete, rebuild or renew the database, but the only thing you can do there is a rescan over the existing data.
In the net in some forums is shown an AddOn for DB-deletion.
But the links are no longer usable - file not found.
What can I do?

- matibaerAspirantThanks to the 3rd level support:
I´ve got a new DLNA Version "1.1.0 rc4" to try out from them.
I could install it as an addon over the existing firmware-internal 1.0.25 and now the scan ends with success.
The folders are shown in the DLNA-playback-devices and can be played.
The only sad thing is, why such a faulty version was delivered with the latest nas-firmware .22,
so that I was shocked where are my videos left and many many hours had to be wasted for finding reasons, solutions etc. - chirpaLuminaryFor others, Skywalker gave a link to the 1.1.0rc4 mentioned above here: viewtopic.php?p=385166#p385166
