How to format an external USB drive from OS 6.1.1 ??
I feel a bit stupid, but I couldn't find a way to format an external USB drive with my 312 under OS 6.1.1. The drive is mounted, it is even possible to access its content (it's an EXT3 drive generall...
Was connected to front USB port, can try rear if you want. It was an USB classical enclosure for 2,5" drives.
Was formatted under windows server 2012R2 that's the only device I have that can create NTFS. Did a quick format with default options, I was in no mood for finding names so I called it NTFS.
Since it's mentioned in the spec sheet I believe you can call Netgear and ask.
