How to format an external USB drive from OS 6.1.1 ??
I feel a bit stupid, but I couldn't find a way to format an external USB drive with my 312 under OS 6.1.1. The drive is mounted, it is even possible to access its content (it's an EXT3 drive generall...
Anyone had any luck with a usb Hard drive formatted as +HFS format from a mac?? Its just i gave it a try on friday - started doing a backup from our RN516 of <2tb of work to the usb hard drive, started backing up - server was pretty much unusable while it was doing it on friday evening [slow]. monday morning and the 516 has crashed, backup log states failed due to not enough space on the usb drive when there definitely should have been.....
what external drive format is best for os6?? - theres nothing stated anywhere on this!! - help!!
aslo - is it normal for everyone logged in under AFP to get disconnected when you plug or unplug a usb drive from the rn516??
