I can not connect to a password protected share from my Mac

FYI, I can see the shares from a Chrome browser window, either by using
http://powers-nas/shares
or
http://192.168.1.2/shares
I can also load the admin interface (either way)
But From Explorer, I cannot get Windows to see the NAS.
The exact error message is:
Error code: 0x80070035
The network path was not found.
