I can not connect to a password protected share from my Mac

This gets me further. Now, I can attempt to actually log in to the NAS, but now, I get the same problem I originally had when attempting to use any share with a password from Windows...and that is that I cannot log in to any share if it has a password set.
I now get an access denied error.
I applied the registry hack to fix this once before. I will check to see if some system update has un-done my registry hack.
