I will download their raid recovery tool to see what it finds. I wouldn't mind paying for the personal license if I can see that most of the data is recoverable. I'm still running the dd command that was recommended last night, though I don't have my hopes high with that. After that I will run the dd_rescue with the -r option. If these all fail then I will test the raid recovery tools.
