I don't think there is an "internal PSU" - just a connector for the power brick.
Is the unit under warranty? That is three years for the original purchaser.

Netgear doesn't provide a repair service or sell parts - they just RMA the unit if it fails under warranty.
I believe the connector itself is a common component, but I don't how easy it would be to replace it.

If you can wiggle the connector and get it to work, the problem is most likely not in the supply, but the connector on the NAS -- quite possibly a broken solder joint. If you want to try another supply, others have reported that the LI SHIN 0219B1280 works. It's a 12V supply, but uses a different connector than most to prevent the use of a supply with less than 90W capability.
