ip address defaults to file

On Windows 10 when I try to access a share on the LAN by entering \\readynas ip address\ the browser defaults to http://ip address and says that it can not find the file.

When I try it with the user name at the end of the login \\ip address\john it does the same thing. When I use the name of the share \\ipaddress\accounting I have the same problem.

Any ideas?

Browser doesn't support SMB access \\IP address,

You may input \\ReadyNAS IP address in file explorer, see below example,
