IP Address Issues

Can you access the dashboard using raider?
In the manual you will find information about network settings:

You can either set a static IP address in the readynas network settings or set a reserved address for the nas on your router or other dhcp server. if you set a static address, make sure it is not within the dhcp server range and that it conforms to the IP address format of other devices on your LAN.
As for the browser issue, try sorting out the IP address issue first, then clear the browser cache and try again.
A firmware upgrade will probably not help, but there is a newer firmware:

Are there any error messages in your logs?
Are the disks all healthy ( check smart data)?
Do you have a backup?
